Hours and pay with RotaOne
Every clocking goes straight into RotaOne, so rotas, hours, lateness, overtime and payroll are always up to date, without a timesheet.
The BioStation 2a is a fingerprint clocking device for RotaOne and Musterd. It brings deep learning to fingerprint recognition, with a dedicated AI processor, so staff clock in quickly even when a fingerprint is worn or hard to read. Every clocking goes straight into RotaOne as worked hours, and tells Musterd who is on site. We supply it, set it up and control it for you, as a standalone device.

Powered by an AI processor, the NPU, on a 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU, for lightning-fast and precise fingerprint recognition, so a clocking takes a moment even at a busy shift change.
Deep learning raises accuracy substantially, with templates extracted even from low-quality, noisy or distorted fingerprints.
Capacity rises from 20,000 to 100,000 users, with matching across up to 100,000 fingerprint templates and storage for up to 5,000,000 logs.
Fingerprint, a PIN, a mobile credential over NFC or BLE, or an RFID card: staff have more than one way to clock in, and an extended USB host lets you add new features.
IP65 rated and working from -20°C to 60°C, so it adapts to indoor and outdoor sites and keeps going in rugged conditions.
Each clocking is a time record in RotaOne and a presence record in Musterd, so payroll hours and the emergency roll call come from the same moment at the device.
Every clocking goes straight into RotaOne, so rotas, hours, lateness, overtime and payroll are always up to date, without a timesheet.

The same clockings tell Musterd who is on site, so when the alarm sounds the roll call starts from the people who are really in the building.
Hosted on Microsoft Azure, certified to ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus, and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
